Description

This stunning photograph of three majestic Sambar deer, standing tall against the backdrop of Adam’s Peak, also known as “Sri Paada” – a mountain peak that is believed to bear the footprint of Lord Buddha himself. This shot has been a long-time dream of mine, captured at the breathtaking Horton Plains National Park in the heart of Sri Lanka.

Sri Lanka is a land of wonders, where the animal kingdom coexists with the rich history of religion and culture. And what better way to showcase this than through this awe-inspiring photograph? The innocence of the deer is captured in all its glory, as they stand tall and proud against the backdrop of this venerated mountain peak.
